I don't have this exact problem--I can wear pumps as long as
they're FLAT. My ankles and heels don't mix.
But because of this, I wear a lot of dressy Mary Janes. That
would me my recommendation for solving this particular problem.
I mean, I prefer Doc Martens Mary Janes, but they don't always
work in some offices--there are, however, dressier versions.
