Well, I couldn't find TSK 1, so she started on 2. I skimmed the first
chapter and decided that all things considered, it would either go over
her head or be an acceptable portrayal of two people doing "grown-up
stuff" in a caring, moderately realistic (except for the magic...) way.
So I told her that pages 5 through 11 or so had grown-up stuff, and she
could skip it if she wanted, or read it if she wanted, and I'd be fine with
it either way.
She read it, said it didn't bug her, and has paused somewhere a bit past
that to finish re-reading the HP books. (I may wave around the paperback
TSK1 that I got at Arisia, so she can start more at the beginning. We
shall see.)
