I remember when I bought my first PC, a P200 with a 6G HD. Everyone I knew
mocked me for getting such a big drive because there was no use for it and
'it would never be filled'.
Three days after I bought it the big news on the Web was this new audio
codec called mp3 and everyone stopped laughing :-)
In IT there is no such thing as overkill just a lack of financial viability.

(Who now has around 4TB in his home machine and his original 6G is still in
use somewhere)
