mail is a tool, and I am a tool user [literally, my first career was as
a machinist.]
Tools do what you need at your command, nothing more nothing less. Until
Mike from 'the moon is a harsh mistress' comes to pass, my computer and
programs do as I command [in general, I am working in xp *sigh*]
If it is determined that for the purpose, top posting is de rigeur, then
top posting it is. I conform to bottom posting on this list nominally to
not rick the boat, though this frequently means I have to wade down
through several screens of dreck to get to the new information. I would
personally prefer to get right to the new goodness and not have to wade
through dross.
And in general I will probably go back to bottom posting.
