Question of the Day (QOTD) #7: Emotional genre, re: ACC dedication
(Sat. Mar. 1st)
Would you view LMB's work as in the same genre (emotionally, not
technically) as the four authors cited in the dedication of "A Civil
Campaign"?
(contributed by Dorian E. Gray israfel at eircom.net)
Reminder:
from _A Civil Campaign: A Comedy of Biology and Manners_
DEDICATION
For Jane, Charlotte, Georgette, and Dorothy --- long may they rule.
(Tora's addition: Jane Austen, Charlotte Bronte, Georgette Heyer, and
Dorothy Sayers, I believe)
PS Sorry I'm running a few hours late today, we had some people over
to watch _Chicago_ (great movie!) last night and they didn't go home
until just past midnight... ;-)

In order to stimulate more regular on topic discussion, we're throwing
out one question every other day for general discussion. Discussion
for any question continues as long as people are interested. A new
question is not the cut-off for any old questions.
The questions are from anyone who wants to email me offlist at
tora.smulders at gmail.com and each person is deciding on his/her own
whether to include their name with the question. Feel free to email
me and I'll add your question to the list (do include whether you'd
like to be mentioned with the question or not!).
For digest readers, if you'd like a direct email every other day when
I send out the question, please let me know offlist and I can add you
to that list.
I'm collecting and organizing the questions, but not contributing the
first couple weeks.
Enjoy!
