If you use a _good_ mail client, such as Eudora 7.2 or earlier (avoid
Eudora 8,0 ff., as it is pure evil), or even Agent 4.2, you will find
all you have to do is highlight the part to which you wish to reply.

When replying to a Digest, it is also necessary to change the subject
line, of course.
I know why people get digests--it saves one's mailbox from being all
clogged up (although everyone's threshold of what constitutes
"clogged up" is different, too), but they are definitely much more
difficult, when one wishes to reply to a message.
