While we wait for the new version of the firmware, here's a suggestion 
to sort e-books by author name in your Cybook: first, create or copy 
author folders on the SD card for your e-books. Then in the Cybook 
Library menu, choose "Sort by file path". The tiles are then organized 
in alphabetical order of the author folders you created.

BTW, I'm a Cybook owner myself, and I have now more than 200 e-book 
titles to sort. This is what I found the most helpful, after 
experimenting a little.
