Katherine is trying to keep her personal forum mail separate from her work
mail. She wants to read the forums at home, not at work.

Katherine, you might try this:

Get a domain and e-mail address and have your forum mail sent there. Keep
the forum mail separate from work via the separate addresses.

Then, you can get the convenience of individual e-mails and use rules to
toss all the forum mail, each into its own folder on your home computer.

If your workplace allows, you could read the forum mail during lunch via the
webmail feature using your browser.

I use godaddy.com (in spite of their ads) and have been fully satisfied.
You can get a domain and e-mail address for less than $20/year or domain and
five e-mail addresses for less than $30/year. (I receive no money from
godaddy.com. I just send them money (and not very much, at that).)
