Did you ever try Tenant of Wildfell Hall? That is the only
Bronte I enjoyed, much less reread.

The main similarity I see between Lois and Sayers is the way
they juggle humor and intense emotion. The changes in mood
happen very quickly and are handled deftly. And the more
verbal humor sections of ACC sometimes have a Sayers flavor
to them.
