Oh yes.  I'd read lots of Austen, and a little Bronte.  When the
dedication was explained, I looked into Sayers - especially having
heard of parallels between Peter-and-Harriett and Miles-and-Ekaterin.
I ended up adoring Sayers, reading all her books, and I own most of
them now.

It took longer for me to get into Heyer, because I was told it was
romance, and ew, romance meant cheap Harlequin stuff, right?  I was SO
wrong.  I heard enough recommendations here on the list to give it a
try, and oh MY!  So now I have a long shelf-ful of Heyers, and it's
favorite comfort reading for both myself and my husband.

So yes, two of my other favorite authors I discovered thanks to that
dedication.  I appreciate it very much!
