saying no to a fellow without making him lose face is tricky. hows this for
fun?
my boss once tried to set me up with a friend of his. this was my first job
that wasn't temp work for a friend of the family, and how the heck do you
say no to your boss without making him lose face? do i wnat to be on the
permanent shit list? with my boss?
so i told him, sorry, i'm busy this week. next week to. no, sorry, can't
seem to find a free night anywhere. really busy.
would you take that as no, take a hike? or would you take that as call the
girl at home, she secretly wants to go on a date... especially since my
phone number was on file.
not always easy to give a definite 'no i never want to see you again' if
you're going to be seing hte person again...

happily working somewhere else now, in case anyone was wondering
