My intention was not to imply that being on Wikipedia makes anything 
truth, but merely to show that our list is not the only place that 
"caret" has been used to describe the greater-than-sign when it is used 
to indicate quoted material. I would probably not use the term "invalid" 
to describe statements with no citations, so much as simply "unsupported".
