The first song, "Bones," is the Sharing Knife filk I heard at
Conflikt back in January. The author had some severe email & family
issues, so it took her a while to get back to me, but here it is
[along with a Paladin of Souls pal] for general delectation. The
tunes are apparently original.
Enjoy!

BONES
As children we are told that in the times of old
We were the lords of other men
We kept among our kin and we multiplied our sins
Until it was all swept away.
Bones of our mothers
Bones of our fathers
Leading on through the night
Where the journey takes us--'til the journey breaks us
Never to give up the fight
The price of our defeat is our daily bread and meat
As we pay the recompense again
The cost of life is dear when it comes with blood and tears
And is buried on the backs of friends
Bones of a lover
Bones of a brother
Never to forget the sight
Where the journey takes us--'til the journey breaks us
Never to give up the fight
Musical bridge
We sowed the seeds of death and we're doing all our best
But still the task is not complete
We pass the burden on in our children and our songs
Until there's no one left to see
Bones of my sister
Everyday I miss her
Still I keep her by my side
Where the journey takes us--'til the journey breaks us
Never to give up the fight
(Bridge)
Walking through fields of green-autumns ahead of me
Ride to the end of my sweep
Sweet as the summer breeze rustling through the trees
All the things I can't keep
Remind me of summers home sitting in shade alone
A pack unloaded by my side
Until I ride out again-counting the absent friends
Nothing to hold but my pride
Bones from each other-I will be another
Death for us is not the end
My taste of death will kill a foe but when that is I'll never know
And I will join the fight again
Bones polished brightly.
Edges sharpened lightly
Living days with all my might
Where the journey takes me--'til the journey breaks me
Never to give up the fight
Living days with all my might
Never to forget the sight
Never to give up the fight
DEMON CHEWED
Oh, I'll tell you all my story about walking through the woods
I was minding my own business. Yes, I was being good
But then that demon jumped me-Took up residence right there
I know my mother told me, I should always be prepared
I have a demon in my gut
It's a terrible thing for a soldier but
For a kick-ass sorcerous guy it's not so bad
I know some people worry that my soul will be defiled
But for a chaos spirit, I think he's pretty mild
They tell me that its hard to get a demon balanced right
They're chaos things that can't mend a thing and they don't know
wrong from right
But mine is just a baby. I think it can be trained
As the elder of our duo, I shoulder all the blame
Chorus
The priest got pretty testy when I marched around them flies
I thought they were pretty cute, ya know, with that martial look in
their itty bitty eyes
And I would be pretending if I said I don't have fun
Yeah, me and my little demon pal, our life has just begun
Chorus
I have a demon in my gut
It's a terrible thing for a soldier but
For a kick-ass sorcerous guy it's not so bad
