Not by me. Obviously.*
Personally, I'd think it was a valid comment, and I'd have no problem with it. I was in fact
hoping someone would say something like that, having gone out on my own limb here, on a reasonably
sensitive issue. (And now feeling a little nervous about it. I don't *think* I said anything
wrong -?)
I'd pretty much applaud, in fact. It would be hypocritical of me if I did have a problem with it.
It would also be kind of - what, self-destructive? - to say men shouldn't like women like me,
especially when I think there is absolutely nothing wrong with being bisexual, or with what I
said. I would hardly want men to *not* like bi women, now, would I? I hope they do. I wouldn't
want to be a pariah.
I like bi women, too. If there were a female bi character in the Bujold novels, I might have
cited her as the sexiest character, though as far as I can recall, there aren't any. And I can't
imagine anyone I'd prefer to Aral, for numerous reasons, all to do with his dialogue, his
relationships, and his role in the plot, both as hero and father.
Of the women in the Bujold books, I find Fawn sexiest by far. I can't think of any others I find
sexy at all; I adore both Ekaterin and Cordelia, but I don't find them sexy. I find Cavilo funny
rather than sexy.
namaste,
Elizabeth
* aside from the fact that I just don't do hobnailed boots, least of all for stomping.
