This may come across as impertinent, if so I apologise and hope you
won't feel obliged to answer.
However I'd be very curious to learn roughly how big your ebook
royalties work out to be. And whether the Baen royalties on ebooks
that cost $5/$6 end up being more than ebook royalties on ebooks from
EOS that cost $18.Both in terms of how much you get per sale and how
much the total is.
FWIW I would be more willing (not completely happy you understand but
happier) to pay $18 for an ebook if I knew that the author got, say,
$5 of it because that would be far more than the author gets for a $18
hardback (from Eric Flint's writings I understand HB royalties are c.
$1.50 / book). If, as I suspect however, you get the same $1.50 for
the ebook as for the HB I'm far less happy to pay for DRM crippled
electrons instead of sheets of dead tree.
