I'm a citizen of Middle-earth and Logres, Barrayar and Hurog, Chalion,  
Dalemark, Damar, Attolia, the Old Kingdom, and the Hidden Land.  I  
grew up in Narnia, Prydain, Luna City, and Earthsea, with extended  
stays on Watership Down, at Green Knowe, in Elidor.

Besides books, definitely people--my family, friends.  I used to be  
loyal to my hometown in MA (though no deep roots there--my parents  
were from WI and WA), but when we moved to this college town in  
upstate NY 22 years ago, it became home.  My college (non ministrari,  
sed ministrare).  My animals.  My children's children's children, and  
the world they will live in.
