I do the same thing. If you have usenet access (some ISP's don't have it as part of the package) I would get a program like news file grabber (I have used a couple and like that best). Set it up with usenet access and the select for the following groups
alt.binaries.e-book
alt.binaries.e-book.fantasy
alt.binaries.e-book.flood
alt.binaries.e-book..palm
alt.binaries.e-book.rpg (although you may not need this one)
alt.binaries.e-book.technical
alt.binaries.ebooks
alt.binaries.e-books
alt.binaries.e-books.flood
