The thing is, the EeePC comes with XandrOS Linux already installed and configured ... it's just like getting a new laptop with Windows already installed. I've never used an easier distro than XandrOS, for what that's worth, and I've run three different releases of Red Hat, three of SuSE, and one of Ubuntu. It's remarkably difficult to fardle up, and the online user forum at forums.xandros.net is one of the most helpful I've ever been in.
Commercial over.
