Alayne notices Obihiro sounds a bit like Ottawa. (-: Yay, northern climes! Trillium, birch trees, and a wild, wooly summer (although, I know several people who have their kerosene stoves on today -- wet and cold, even though the plants are starting to get jungle-like). Someday I'd love to visit Canada. I'm wondering how the northern climes of say, Sweden, compare. Carl Larssen (spelling) had a wonderful picture book showing the Scandanavian summer.
