[LMB] Anime

I was just wondering, as I've read posts were you talk about anime before, 
what your favorites are?
 
I've sort of backed into it- get this
 
Firefly, Buffy & Angel to Cowboy Bebop to Fullmetal Alchemist to Ghost in the 
Shell, Black Lagoon, Gunslinger Girl, Mushi-Shi, Pumpkin Scissors, Appleseed, 
and finally (I'm wondering about my Sanity, here) Martian Successor Nadesico 
(Just the stuff I own- Eureka 7, Blood+,  and the first arc of Bleach are on 
my wish list). That last one was a little scary- parts of the 26 episode series 
tracked eerily with a space opera campaign I ran. Plus it's the silliest 
thing I've watched that should have put me in a diabetic coma.
 
It keeps getting weirder and sillier, but now that I've seen these, I wonder 
what else I'm missing out on?
