Depending on my work schedule (part-time at a downtown hospital) and whether or not we're into a federal election campaign by then (up to Mr Harper, really) I might be available as not-a-native guide to Toronto, the Navel of the Universe (forty years residence here has acquainted me with most of the city.) Casa Loma, Fort York, alcoholic landmarks like the Wheat Sheaf Tavern (oldest continuously operating public house in the Province), the Horseshoe, Grossman's and the Good Old El Mocambo; the Royal Ontario Museum, the Gardner Ceramic Museum, the Bata Shoe Museum (no, really! The shoes on display are fascinating.)
As for food, name a cuisine and you'll find it here.
Email me offlist.
