(Side note, I'm re-watching the Cowboy Bebop movie, and of course thinking
about how great it would be to run a bounty-hunting campaign for my Saturday
Night Crazies, err, players...)

Roy Mustang and Riza Hawkeye (I'm a 'shipper 8-)
In the best tradition of bosses in anime, he's manipulative, ambitious and
looks after his troops. Assigning the task of getting Havoc a new girlfriend...
I loved the Movie, but it follows up on the wild left turn the anime took at
the end of the series, so I understand why some people don't like it.

Porco Russo, Nausica, but Princess Monoke rocked!
The hero gives up everything, without looking back and without being
pollyanna-ish about it. And, when we and the hero get our first look at the
'Princess', it's love at first sight. Complicated villians, no true black hats.

Between Dark Angel and Samurai Champloo, this redneck has started to like
hip-hop 8-)

"What will you use the golem for?"
"Not use, sir. Employ. I thought he might be useful for to keep the peace,
sir."
"A Watchman?"
"Yes, sir," said Vimes. "Haven't you heard, sir? Golems do all the mucky
jobs."
