Yep, the Spousal Overunit and I live in Laramie, Wyoming, so not very far to Fort Fun.
Bas Bleu 'twas indeed. Not so wonderful a building, but a great theatre.
The production is worth a trip to go see, I laughed a lot. Here's a local review that I pretty much agree with:
Birthday meal was at the Rodizio (Brazilian churrascurria), quite tasty--although the Denver location has a lot more atmosphere, the flavor is about the same. Ice cream was made at Kilwin's, recommended!
Ah, for a stage version of A Civil Campaign...

A play (down in Fort Collins, "Lend Me a Tenor,") a fine meal, some fresh-made ice cream! A good book was had as well, Guy Gavriel Kay's_Under Heaven_. (And some good eatings the birthday itself, too!) All in all, a pretty good day!
At the Bas Bleu Theatre?
The closest I get to Fort Collins is the Candlelight Dinner Theater in
Johnstown 2-3 times per year, not too far away from Fort Collins - but
if you're going "down", I expect you're north of Fort Collins.
