For those who are interested:

(WARNING: these links will take you to images from the processionals
of actual official funerals, so don't go if you don't want to see 'em)

The following are still images taken during the RCMP Regimental
Funeral for RCMP Chief Superintendent Douglas Coates (who was killed
during the Haiti earthquake as part of the UN mission there), held in
the city of Ottawa (Canada). The photos include images from the

Images # 25-32 (of 36) relate to the pallbearers and carrying the coffin.

The photos are on the website of the Ottawa Professional Fire Fighters
Association. The City of Ottawa Fire Department had a large number of
its members participate in the procession.

The following video is a news story (Brocknews.ca) regarding the RCMP
Regimental Funeral for RCMP Cst. Doug Scott (who was killed in the
line of duty in November 2007; the person responsible was convicted of
first degree murder in March 2010):

The video is just over 3 minutes long. It contains snippets from the
processional through city streets (i.e. thousands of police in
procession), and ** at about 2:45 +/- through to the end there are
some snippets of the pallbearers carrying the casket into the church
and then again on the TV screen outside the church you can see them
carrying it inside the church. **

(er, and for those who do not know, RCMP = Royal Canadian Mounted
Police, Canada's national police service)
