If you can back the right horse (as it were), you can expect some reward, even if
you cannot be a candidate yourself, perhaps if you merely advance the cause
of replacing dy Jironal. Cazaril gets the job, one because he’s shown himself 
capable and zero because he can be trusted. Being betrayed by a chancellor must
be high in the fears of any royalty, perhaps more than a sibling or other
person with a claim.
