I guess it depends on what you're after here. There's certainly Pat Wrede
and Caroline Stevermer's "Sorcery and Cecelia", which does a fantasy remake
of Regency England and tells a romance story inside. (Same for Pat Wrede's
Magician's Ward)

Various Historical Fantasy/Alternate History tales exist, some with more or
less quantities of fantasy in them...
