Raye is having difficulties with her cat, Percy.

He's probably having tremendous territory insecurity. After all, he's gone from being adored, to being replaced, to being moved to a person who doesn't even like cats, and now there's a new person. There's no sense of permanence, of either people or places.

Have you had him checked for a chemical imbalance? That's something meds can help, and maybe calm him down.

Does he have territory clearly his, such as shelves, tunnels, etc.?

Are there any games or treats he responds to? When he's being aggressive, can you re-direct him [& his claws] away from you with a toy attached to a string on one of those flex poles? Enough play might wear him out & let you get some rest. Cats thrive on routine and structure. If you play with, feed, & pet him at the same time every day, he'll learn to expect that.

For more specifics, check out the "My Cat From Hell" videos on youtube. You could look online for an episode dealing with your specific issues and then look up that one.

I hope this helps.

Jerrie
