To perhaps clarify: That thing you're wanting? You supposedly had it
yesterday. You can't have it today, but you're promised that you'll have
it tomorrow. But when tomorrow becomes today, you still can't have
it; you can never have it *today*; it's always a promise for the future.
And thus a false promise.
