Mark Vorkosigan was grown in a vat - a small model, frequently referred to
as a "uterine replicator". He most certainly has a progenitor.
Whether tissues destined to be meat products have progenitors depend on
their origin. Perhaps they were synthesized organisms. How many
progenitors did Taura have?
