Possibly.  It's hard to imagine him being in a relationship with,
or otherwise having a child with, anyone but Irene.  But she might
have wanted children, and for her, he'd be a most-likely candidate.
The child's godfather John would have advice about a military career.

All of this is informed by "His Last Bow", of course.
