Let me think on this. I know there are conspiracy theories in the book regarding Miles and his mutant scariness.?
The best conspiracies would be amongst the parochial class, and involve?
strange mis-understandings of modern technology, combined with the old, lurid Vor networks.?
At least, that's what I think.?

Gwynne: How about... UR technology is a Ceta/Beta/Insertyourownenemyhere plot
to wipe out Barrayaranness? Gene cleaning is really a way to insert or delete ...
whatever.... to weaken the race. And replicators deliver programmed creatures who'll
rise up to take over one day.

Plenty of other Replicator conspiracies: They don't deliver your own babies, they're all
cloned from Counts or the rich or other planets, they're not really human, they're not
really Barrayaran... myriad possibilities there.

Then there's the one about space travel: that going through a wormhole actually kills
the original people, and creates new ones at the other end.

Lord Auditor Vorkosigan used Betan mind control to trick Ekaterin into marrying him.

Byerly Vorrutyer is actually a drugs kingpin, running a huge crime syndicate.

The Emperor was killed on a visit to Komarr in his twenties. The Regent took off to
collect a clone who'd been raised on JW as a backup, and the Ceta invasion of the
Hegen Hub was faked to cover it all up.

Mark Vorkosigan is a JW clone that the Vorkosigans ordered just in case their son
didn't survive. When Miles made it to adulthood they allowed the clone to join the
family anyway.

Tej is a JW mole, sent to spy on the Imperium. That's why Gregor sent her and Ivan
away to Ylla.

Seriously, it's hard to think of conspiracies that are wilder than what really happened.
