You can also email books purchased elsewhere ( such as from Baen Books ) to your Kindle account so they are available for downloading to any registered Kindle device or Kindle app. As well as keep backup copies on your computer. Even an 8 gb Kindle will hold many books. The 32 gb models make more sense for people who want many graphic novels or comics or books with photos.
