file attached - i have found only one thing i would change in the first
read through (file format was changed becasue i do not use microsoft
word) - my comment is in red and marked with ## (easy to find)
i will reread it in a day or so, checking if i find more things to
comment specifically ..
generally - the story works well as a story
there is not much i comment on the magic / groundsense side of things as
i have not read too much of the WGW books .. but what i read did not
work crosswise with your story
there is one thing hoiwever i would like to discuss - the camp is a
massive collection of people with ground sense .. boith staying there as
well as coming and going .. a malice (ands are mobile malices not very
rare and SLOW?) popping up close to a lakewalker camp wouldf be very
how about putting the encounter into a bigger distance to the camp? (the
area close to the camp surely would be rather hunted out, so this would
also make sense)
a days (or halfdays) travel away perhaps? (hunter goes out in the day,
overnights in as makeshift camp and uses dusk and dawn to hunt

>>> I have a recipe for creamy tomato soup that starts the same way ... I add about a tablespoon of garlic, a pint or so of water, no pasta, simmer the pot for 40 minutes, take it off the heat for ten, and then put it in the blender and puree it. (I saute the onion in the butter until just translucent and then dump in the rest.)
