So picking your examples two women active in US politics has nothing to do with US politics?
You seem to be making the assumption that the only reason a voter would vote against either of the candidates is that they are women.
I was going to add some other examples, however this is as far as I’ll go.
Christian, husband, father, granddaddy, son, American. Here I stand. I can do no other. God help me.

Yeah, it's only "US politics" when one disagrees with the POV being
expressed.... otherwise it's just "robust debate."
The people with the most invested in current systems loathe being
called on the inequalities of those systems.
Just look at Dar and Cumbia's reaction to Dag and Fawn shaking up the
Wide Green World.
