Asian countries have a culture of masking even for common colds, etc.
It's seen as polite and responsible. It's not surprising that CV19 has
taken less of a hold.
They're also bigger on social conformance, including what's best for
society.
My wife went to South Korea a few year back, and commented on the lack
of both litter and litter-bins (trashcans). "Oh, everyone takes it
