In 1980 I took a computer class and learned how to program useing a punch
card machine.

Gwynne: We are the turning-point generation, aren't we. We can remember
a life without computers, but we can also use and enjoy the tech we have now.
(Ok, most of you can use it. I just hope it's not going to explode. But that's a
technicality.)  I think we did get the best of both worlds.
