Assuming facts not in evidence. Is there any reason to believe that Jews
as a whole or any subgroup within the category is 'allergic' to pork? A
quick search indicates that pork allergies are usually related to cat
dander allergies - are these people allergic to cats? Are Jews more likely
to be allergic to cats?
People often try to rationalize prohibitions by finding what looks like a
plausible justification, then asserting it - without bothering to find out
if it's true or not.
