do yo live in your own house .. and do you have a wall socket in the 
garage ?

that is all that is needed for regular charging - your car is standing 
at home most of the day (lets say a night with 12 hours at 2 kw = 24 kWh 
= 25+% of the battery pack or roughly 1000 miles)
