Decent job at a decent wage is pretty much the definition of socialism. 
Some forms of socialism add "and also a share of the profits". Which is 
why modern socialism has no problem coexisting with capitalism in mixed 
economy.

Communism is when you demand that all means of production become 
communal property, a different proposition altogether, and one I can't 
being implemented with authoritarianism (and therefore both bad and 
unrealisitic, or idealist, if you insist)
