Heck yeah. We got our first TV for Christmas of 1950 -- I was about a month
old!
 -- but I have no idea when they began broadcasting the parade.By the time
I was old enough to remember such details, it was always there on New
Year's Day.  We did not have a color TV until 1967 (or was it '68?).
