I noticed the difference, but didn't send anything to the list as I read
Takes a Thief right after it came out . . . . even with "spoiler" in the
subject line, I hate doing anything that might give anything away.

Anyway, he's still with his uncle, who is a "thief" of sorts :)  and,
the uncle DOES get caught in a manner of speaking. . . .the only
discrepancy is the apprenticeship one.  It is a continuity problem, but
nothing I couldn't get around.
