***Li'nia creeps into the Hall of Mist, wondering if anyone here will remember her and her mind-mate, Styx... They'd been gone a long time, caught up in the tumultuous events of her career and life... Especially the event of her finally having found her soul-mate, only to have him taken far away from her due to their choices in careers... Well, they at least had to see the state of the Arena of Discussion and Dissention, since she still was the Caretaker...***
 
This saddens me so much, although it is not unexpected.  Andre Norton contributed so much to so many authors, and she also introduced me to the amazing world of fantasy and science-fiction.  I fell in love with her books years ago, and she never ceased to hold my attention whenever I began to read one of her stories.  Her imagination sparked mine, and she will always be one of my favorite authors!
