[Mercedes-Lackey] The Halls have reopened ----Party!

Absalon arrived at the main doors to the halls - looking a little 
confused at the dust and cobweb lying outside.

"Hmmmm, we have been absent for too long. But it seems like someone 
already took care of it. The magic carries traces of Dax the Eternal's 
work."

He steps into the halls and sees a few people he recognize.

"Greetings listsibs. I appologize for being late."

He looks at Dax the Eternal, bows gracefully, and says "Dax, you haven't 
changed at all in the decade since I joined these halls - must be why 
you are called 'the Eternal'. Thanks for reopening the place - it has 
gone too quiet of late."

On topic:

I also find Ari the most interesting character in the Joust series. Like 
Layla, it might be an age thing, but as Tristaan said, he got a deeper 
character than Vetch.
