Heyla and Welcome Listsibs,

To all the Newbies, have a seat, some snacks and put your feet up. To
those elders who have returned, find your favorite spot and jump right
in! The hot tub is warmed up and bubbly.

Thanks for all the discussion. My husband went into the hospital for
bleeding ulcers for 3 weeks and that put me a bit behind on the
welcomes. He is doing well now.

Someone upthread mentioned the Diana Tregarde novels being republished.
That is true, and the SFBC has them as an omnibus edition as well. I
think they were just before their time and that they should do really
well in reprint, I hope encouraging her to write more. Which of the 3,
if you have read them, did you like best and why? Jinx High (Based in
Jenks, OK (I live 15 minutes from there), Burning Waters, or Children of
the Night (The first "Horror" I had ever read, except maybe "Thinner" by
Steven King).

My preference is Children of the Night. A good introduction to the
character, interesting story and excellent world setup.

Dax the Eternal
