Well, in my lit classes, when we read plays we each were given parts and
"read" excerpts that way. "Macbeth", "The Hairy Ape", "A Raisin in the
Sun".... We also did this, sometimes, with novels. (I got some peer
kudos for my very creepy reading of Chillingworth in _The Scarlet Letter_.)
