No no, very bad idea; for a woman  to attack her lawful husband, no matter
how provoked she was, was often considered treason and she could hang for
pre-meditated self defense.  Possibly also for excessive defense in the
heat of the moment.  Treason, after all, we don't want people getting
ideas.
