I haven't noticed more than usual, but I am getting a lot more robocalls
than usual. Since I don't answer the phone unless I recognize the
number, it does not make much difference to me.

Also, the group that cracked the machines is often just selling access to their machine collection to the phishers. That adds yet another layer between the email you reported and the actual sender.
