Too frightening for me to imagine. Just got through reading The Making of The Atomic Bomb. We were lucky. The Men From Mars about the 5 Hungarian scientists involved with the basics of atomic physics is fascinating.

Churchill has always been a fascinating figure to me. I wonder what the
outcome of WWII would have been like if he never existed or had died?
